Hello! I’m so happy that you’re here! What a week it has been whoahhhh. I’m super grateful for this week so let’s dive right into talking all about it.
On Monday I was still on the wellrobe.com website and I wanted to start off the week by talking about why everyone should journal. Journaling has been a super important tool I’ve used for my body and soul. It allows you to put your thoughts onto paper, and go through the emotions independently in a way remove the thoughts from over powering your mind.
I’ve been loving bbq’ing this summer and on Monday’s i have this thing where I don’t spend any money. So I had chicken breast in the fridge so I made some BOMBBB chicken with rice and veggies. I need to start taking more pictures throughout my week because I really wish I had a picture to prove how amazing it was. Another rule I have is never skip a Monday workout. The bottom of my foot has been bothering me this week so I opted in for cycling and it really helped clear my mind … on top of journaling
Tuesday I built the courage to make the substack profile, I really felt like I was taking a step forward towards expanding the Wellrobe community. Over social media there is a trend that implies high maintenance things that you do to stay low maintenance, and I believe that it really is curated towards my day to day life that I like to live. Take a read right here.
Wellrobe Wednesday, a day where I specifically choose a topic in the Wellness or Wardrobe niche and deconstruct it and say if it’s Wellrobe approved. This week we went into detail about Ouai haircare. I have been loving Oaui for the longest time and I only have great things to say.
Thursday was devoted to helping you realize that if you don’t trust yourself, your direction, and your dreams, they will never come to fruition. You need to trust yourself in ways that no one else will because that’s how you make progress. There has never been a day where I have not believed in myself. To give you a sneak peek of the article, this is the "woah" moment I hope readers will have:
“Failures and setbacks are inevitable. They are not indicators of your worth or capability, but rather opportunities for learning and growth. Trusting yourself means acknowledging that you are equipped to handle these challenges. Reflect on what went wrong, adapt, and move forward with greater wisdom and resilience.”
At the end of the day, we are all powerful and capable of amazing things.
Friday I announced the switch to substack ahhh! still kinda surreal
Quote I’ve been loving:
"The only way to do great work is to love what you do."- Steve Jobs
As I build my career, Steve Jobs' wisdom, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do," has been on repeat in my head this week. This quote serves as a guiding light, emphasizing the importance of passion in achieving excellence. It reminds me that genuine enthusiasm and dedication are essential for truly impactful work. By finding joy and fulfillment in what I do, I can overcome challenges and stay motivated. This perspective not only fuels my ambition but also ensures that my efforts are meaningful and aligned with my true interests.
Books that I’ve been reading:
Now I have gotten into the routine of reading two books at once, this week was “The practical book for the actor” which i completed this morning and “I will teach you how to be rich” by Ramit Sethi and I was absolutely glued to them. I really recommend the books!
Let me know which books you recommend! I’m always open to new reads!!
Favourite product of the week:

This week, my favourite product has been the Dr. Dennis Gross Cleanser. It's quickly become a staple in my skincare routine, and I can’t wait to share why. This cleanser is incredibly effective at removing impurities and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. It leaves my face feeling fresh, clean, and perfectly balanced. The gentle formula is suitable for all skin types and has noticeably improved my skin's texture and clarity. If you're looking for a cleanser that delivers both results and a luxurious experience, I highly recommend giving this one a try!
